Will and Brent founded Thatch in back in 2011 as our furnished housing affiliate, geared to meet the needs of corporate, medical and family travelers here for shorter stays. Today, Thatch is the face of all of BREC’s property management and leasing – providing a network of both furnished and unfurnished housing options that give our tenants ultimate flexibility and functionality.
Through Thatch we are opening doors to Boston by providing innovative housing solutions that are creating access for people who might not otherwise be able to live in or around Boston due to cost of housing, length of stay or lack of flexibility in lease terms. BREC is building and Thatch is managing everything from traditional unfurnished units, co-living, workforce housing, micro units, short and long term furnished apartments and more.
